Bangalore University(BU) has proved to be a good home so far. A recent plantation drive was conducted on the BU campus, with 350 varieties of rare plant species under the threat of extinction. Software engineer, Dheeraj Kumar M, who was part of this drive said, “Only a few nurseries in Bangalore have rare species of plants. Not many people know about these varieties. It is important to save these rare species and make our city green. We should do this everywhere.”
